| PURPOSE OF FOUNDATION | Using the Yamagata region as a base, IVY is involved in solving global problems, and aims for a society where everyone around the world can live humanely, based on the principles listed below. 1. Have self-awareness as global citizens and be active locally. 2. Accept differences such as race, gender, religion, or personality, respect the unique wisdom of different regions and multiculturalism, and proactively make the most of activities. 3. Work to realize a just society with economic, societal, and racial equality. 4. Have high expectations for the potential of each and every person, while striving to create a new sense of worth. 5. Use volunteer activities for self-improvement and use the experiences and knowledge gained to give back to yourself, family, workplace, and community. 6. Support environmental conservation, organic farming, and recycling in order to maintain a sustainable environment for the Earth, and aim for a recycling-oriented society. |
| INTRODUCTION | Using the "creating a world where everyone can live in safety" motto, IVY is active in overcoming national borders and helping individuals and communities become self-reliant. 1. Education for Syrian and Iraqis refugee and evacuee children. 2. Projects to help small-scale farmers in middle mountain range in Bangladesh export their produce and manage flooding. 3. Support for Ukrainians who cannot access medical aid. 4. Support for Foreign Residents. 5. IVY youth activities. 6. International understanding and environmental education. 7.
