| PURPOSE OF FOUNDATION | We aim to strengthen the bonds between Japan and Taiwan, and deepen mutual understanding through cultural exchange, and by gathering together with Taiwanese and Japanese people living in Tohoku as well as with those that have an interest in Taiwanese and Japanese culture. |
| INTRODUCTION | iTaiwan @TOHOKU was started by Taiwanese people in Tohoku, to deepen the long friendship between Taiwan and Japan. We promote Taiwanese history, culture and tourism to the people of Tohoku. We also strive to deepen our bond and mutual understanding, using social media to familiarize the people of Tohoku with Taiwan, and convey what makes Tohoku special. |
